Chapter Twenty-one
YoYo's actions and reactions at the end of this chapter seem to signal a change in her. How did you interpret the things she did and said?
I know everybody keeps trying to explain to her that her parents are dead and she says but I want to see them. I think someone should put the word death in a more 5 year old context so Yoyo can understand the concept of death. And i also think that Yoyo is cry a lot more. And by the way Brian, a lot is two words not one.
I still cant believe that Yoyo does not know she will not see her parents. I think she is going to cry alot more in the story.

ReplyDeleteThanks for making the point about "a lot," Sabryna!
ReplyDeleteI also think yoyo needs a 5 year old definition of dead. I mean how mutch can she not understand?
ReplyDeleteI think Yoyo needs to find a dictionary to look up the word, DEATH or DEAD! And then have someone read it to her. And help her understand.
ReplyDeleteYoyo is only 5. She probably cant even read.
ReplyDeleteBut Kyle, someone could read her it! And first of all thank you Mr.B and.
ReplyDeleteHow would she find Death in a diconary if she cant read?
