Chapter Seventeen
Why do you think Janey continues to emphasize, and try to enforce, the rules that her mother had for YoYo and herself?
I think Yoyo takes responsibility to take care of Yoyo because she believes that even if her parents are not alive that they should still obey their rules.
I believe she does this because she does not want Yoyo to forget manners.

ReplyDeleteI agree, to all of you, just because Janey and Yoyo's parents are no longer with them, Yoyo can't forget manners. Janey is just trying to help.
