Chapter Twenty
At the end of this chapter, Gypsy thinks, "I reckoned I was a different person in more ways than just my appearance, and a person who was anything but invisible." (page 174)
What do you think she meant by this? Please explain yourself thoroughly.
She means that even though she has cut off all her beautiful hair (which is what people recognized her by) she is still her own person; she realizes that she is not invisible, even without what she thought defined her.
I think it means that she stands out.
ReplyDeleteI think she is differant in all differant ways and that she stands out.
